After winning Big Brother 7 in 2006 Pete Bennett went straight into the recording studio with legendary songwriter/producer Guy Chambers. The idea was to write and produce tracks that suited Pete’s outgoing personality. The result is a mixture of high energy punk/techno/rock combined with the sounds of Billie Idol/Prodigy. But to be fair there is not a lot you can compare Pete too, his style and performance have an edge all of their own.

Most recently Pete has been touring the UK and writing with other Producers and Songwriters under the name ‘Pete Bennett & the Lovedogs’ with a full band lineup. With over 50 gigs already under his belt and a myspace site that has had over 400’000 hits Pete has become one of the “must see’s” on the music scene including a fantastic set at the Glastonbury Festival. Venues including London’s Borderline and IndigO2, Liverpool’s Cavern Club, Newcastle Academy and Student Summerballs have all witnessed Pete’s amazing energy and high tempo songs receiving great reviews and reactions all round. Pete Bennett is an Artist doing it the good old fashioned way through LIVE performance.

Pete is currently preparing for his first single release “Cosmonaut” in Ireland through a small tour and TV show/Radio appearances (August/September 200 prior to a big push here in the UK. If nothing else this is a performer whom you are gonna love or hate, but one thing for sure you will not fail to be impressed with his energy. Step back, take a listen and then make your own mind up. "Its all about showing people what I'm about" says Pete, "I'm determined to do this through my own merits and hard work; it’s not just about releasing some crap record straight off the back of Big Brother". There is very little that you can’t love the guy for, "I just hope that people like it, it makes me smile anyway, I'm having a great time".
