Harrison Hope emerges from the ashes of 2008's Q Magazine New Talent finalists: The Franks (the band went on to play the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury to a sizeable crowd, having won over the heart of the panel and most significantly the founder's daughter: Emily Evis). The band were now firmly on the radar. However, events that ensued were to witness the rupture of the creative connection that had brought The Franks to the cusp of success and a seemingly solid and enduring friendship was to come to an end: Jamie moving to the States with his girlfriend, leaving Michael and Dean to face a sharp new reality in North London.
